Sit Down and Rewind
03:24
|
|||
You never laid back
And you never did wrong
In time it’ll pay back
But god knows how long
Oh dear just shut your eyes
Let it all pass you by
There’s more I could tell you
But I don’t see why that I should
Just go home and lay down
Use the time
Time that they gave you
To sit down & rewind
Every once in a while
You’ll get a chance to get by
Whatever happens
You just might be alright
Is it ever to late
Is there ever no time to look back
Can it just not wait
Till the storm is over yet
Wave goodbye, pack your bags
And leave it all behind
Take your time
To sit down & rewind
Just smile and wave
As it gets out of hand
Go blame on other people
Say you have no chance
Just now and then
It feels good to escape
Rewind from the sofa
As you get out of shape
Is it ever to late
Is there ever no time to look back
Can it just not wait
Till the storm is over yet
Wave goodbye, pack your bags
And leave it all behind
Take your time
To sit down & rewind
Who’s gonna lend you a hand
When life is not fair
Does it make you wonder
When there’s nobody there
Does it get to you
As it all unfolds
Can You try
To let go
Go home and lay down
Use the time
Time that they gave you
To sit down & rewind
Every once in a while
You’ll get a chance to get by
Whatever happens
You just might be alright
Is it ever to late
Is there ever no time to look back
Can it just not wait
Till the storm is over yet
Wave goodbye, pack your bags
And leave it all behind
Take a hike through new scenes that you even might like
Take your time
To sit down & rewind

Hit or Miss
03:52
|
|||
I try to keep down my voice
And let words just slip out slowly
I tried it all on my own
And told the people not to worry
But no, I find it hard to excuse myself
Oh no, I’m not looking to explain myself no
A lot can change in a year
There’s so much I’ve come to peace with
Things that I used to fear
So much I know how to deal with
Yet oh, I find it hard to excuse myself
And oh, why do I need to explain myself
Maybe it didn’t turn out right but it is the way it is
Did they think that I planned this out or just hoped for a hit or miss
It felt like I needed the change and some things you can’t keep around
Although it makes it a harder move on, in the long run looks safe and sound
Do you think I don’t mind
Cause lately it is all I think off
To put this all on the line
Is just more than I want to go for
But noo, why do I need to explain myself
And oh, I think it’s time to speak for myself
Maybe it didn’t turn out how it should but it is the way it is
Did you think that I planned this out and hoped for a hit or miss
It felt like I needed a change and some things you can’t keep around
Although it a harder move on, the long run looks safe and sound
For a moment I saw it all by just looking up from my feet
I may have heard it a thousand times but somehow I failed to see
Tell me you never doubted me though it is the last thing I’ll ever ask
You made it so far along now take a breath and just lay back

Needless Serenade
03:30
|
|||
Is there a number I can call to address my concerns?
I’d like to make a mention of what’s going on just to someone
If there’s some sort of a god I suggest that we talk
Could I complain and have you all on my side after I’m done
Walk and talk, I’m not asking a lot
Don’t mind how, just get me out of this rut
Let me go as I fight my crusade
Starting with a needless serenade
Go make a point or do nothing as such
Just come with me I won't be asking for much
Let me go as I fight my crusade
Starting with a needless serenade
Take me away I think that I need to get out more
There’s this voice in my head that says that I shouldn’t stay here
Make up my mind and tell me that it’s gonna be fine
I find it strange that there’s not anyone who out there to help me
Walk and talk, I’m not asking a lot
Don’t mind how, just get me out of this rut
Let me go as I fight my crusade
Starting with a needless serenade
Go make a point or do nothing as such
Just come with me I won't be asking for much
Let me go as I fight my crusade
Starting with a needless serenade
Come to think of it that whenever I pine over someone
I may go back and forth yet anyhow there’s no one I turn to
And for some reason I can never define what it's like to
To feel the need share with anyone who will listen
Go make a point or do nothing as such
Just come with me I won't be asking for much
Watch me go as I fight my crusade
Starting with a needless serenade

I Did My Time
03:05
|
|||
I cleared the air but then it started over
I ain't growing up I'm just getting older
It'll not be done today
It has always been this way
I saw a face of what I might become
What I will get done and how I'll overcome
I've been waiting for so long
Oh please while I'm still young
And I, I've been told to sit tight
Yeah I, I deceived and I lied
Oh why, why'd I sit idly by
Oh I, I think I did my time
The odd man out it's always been my place
I'll tell you the truth if you'll read my face
Can we meet another time
leave off here, would that be fine
And I, I've been told to sit tight
Yeah I, I deceived and I lied
Oh why, why'd I sit idly by
Oh I, I think I did my time
I had a clean slate when I was about to go in
But anyway I got caught up again
No surprises along the way this time
But I fought for all that's mine
And everyone that I will keep around
Everyone that will keep around

Easy to Please
03:01
|
|||
Anything is a trigger
Even a coin on the ground
Girls like you don't long something bigger
Even if it's around
Ooh oh oh
Try to bear this in mind
Ooh oh oh
A little bit is just fine
Sometimes it seems like it's easy to please you
I'll take that into account
Whatever I may get myself into
I'll find a decent way out
Ooh oh oh
Try to bear this in mind
Ooh oh oh
A little bit is just fine
I cut a corner and still flew high, you see
Just by the seat of my pants
Now and then I might change the tides but now
I'll try to stick to my plan
Ooh oh oh
Ooh oh oh
Nobody minds if the word gets out
Go tell them all over town
Maybe not everyone might light up
But even they'll come around
I cut a corner and still flew high, you see
Just by the seat of my pants
Now and then I might change the tides but now
I'll try to stick to my plan
Ooh oh oh
Try to bear this in mind
Ooh oh oh
I want you to be mine
